New moulding press

In order to meet the increasing demand for bigger moulded parts, INITIAL acquired a brand new electric press for injection moulding: a Billion Select 150T, in early December.
Advantages of an electric press:
1) Repeatability
2) Accuracy thanks to its fine settings
3) Eco-friendly thanks to low consumption of water and power
4) Reliability
Additional equipment:
In parallel, we acquired a pick and place robot from SEPRO.
This 3-axis servomotor robot allows us to handle aesthetic parts cautiously in order to keep them from damage.
Also, a new dessicator updates our range of material for drying plastics.
Overall number of injection moulding machines:
- 1 BILLION 50 T hydraulic press
- 1 BILLION 150 T electric press
The whole plastic injection moulding activity settled in the new building. This means they now have more room for better organisation and improved logistics.
Everything has been done to optimise the quality of the parts supplied to you.
