POS displays, shop windows and events: 3D visual merchandising
Visual merchandising: give volume to your custom POS concepts
Product launch, pop-up store, flagship window or trade show: additive manufacturing frees you from the constraints of traditional tooling.
Our design office supports you in creating your displays. Working from your CAD files (STEP, IGES), a sketch or a mood board, it models the parts and decorative elements where needed, assesses the technical feasibility of your visual merchandising project and selects the process/material combination that matches your strength, weight and aesthetic requirements.
Custom displays & POS
Create a unique presentation stand that showcases the product.
Counter displays, plinths, exhibition podiums, complex displays and custom product holders. 3D printing makes it possible to design cavities and shapes fitted to the millimetre to showcase bottles of wine and spirits, perfume bottles, timepieces or cosmetics.
Theatrical shop windows
Create a focal point that cannot be ignored in the store.
Decorative elements, textured plinths, hanging structures and high-end window decorations for your scenography. Every part receives careful surface treatments and finishes that meet the aesthetic standards of luxury brands.
Logos, lettering & oversized dummy products
Stage your brand and reproduce your products in large format.
3D logos, raised lettering and oversized dummy products (perfume bottles, cosmetics, packaging), in line with our enlargements of sculptures and art objects. With our large-format stereolithography (SLA), we produce bulky parts in a single piece or as assembled modules.
Trade show & event decor
Design a signature piece that grabs attention from several metres away.
Scenographic structures, hanging elements, custom trophies, stand elements and event exhibits. Each piece is designed for strong visual impact and easy on-site installation.
Industrial capabilities & custom finishes for your POS displays
A POS display or window element must catch the eye while withstanding transport, handling and exhibition lighting. Our design office, machine fleet and finishing workshop handle your project from end to end:
- SLA build envelope up to 650 × 751 × 540 mm in a single piece, for imposing volumes with no assembly.
- Tall modular structures: beyond this envelope, the part is split into modules and an assembly structure is designed at the engineering stage. Example: a 6 m tall palm tree, with a trunk made of FFF/FDM printed modules and SLS foliage imitating palm fronds.
- Short runs in SLS and MJF: displays or components produced with no tooling costs and no injection mold. Every store in a network receives the same part, with the same finish.
- Paint finishes & material effects: paint in the exact shade (RAL, Pantone), matt, satin or gloss finishes, patinas, metallisation, and optional anti-UV varnish for windows exposed to direct light.
- Scaling: your CAD files faithfully reproduced, scaled down or up.
From design to installation of your window elements
- Design & feasibility: our design office analyses your CAD files (STEP, IGES) or models the parts and decorative elements from your sketches and specifications. An existing object with no file can be digitised by 3D scanning.
- Technology selection: stereolithography (SLA), powder sintering (SLS), Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) or fused filament fabrication (FFF/FDM), depending on size, use and target finish.
- Additive manufacturing: production of one-off parts or series, with no tooling.
- Finishing & assembly: sanding, RAL/Pantone painting, varnish if needed and assembly of sub-assemblies.
- Packaging & shipping: parts protected for transport to the exhibition venue.
Frequently asked questions about manufacturing POS displays and window elements
Yes. Our stereolithography (SLA) prints single-piece parts up to 650 × 751 × 540 mm. Beyond that, the part is designed in modules with its assembly structure, which makes it possible to build decorations several metres high.
Yes. Powder sintering (SLS), Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) and stereolithography (SLA) directly produce short runs of displays and POS material, with no tooling to amortise and no injection mold. It is the right solution for low to moderate volumes, for example a roll-out across several stores.
No. Our design office works from your standard 3D files (STEP, IGES, STL) if they exist, but it can also model the parts and decorative elements from your sketches, photos or specifications. An existing object can also be 3D scanned before manufacturing.
Yes. Our in-house finishing workshop handles sanding and painting to your RAL or Pantone references, in matt, satin or gloss, as well as patinas and material effects.
Yes. Painted surfaces are easy to clean and, for windows exposed to direct light, an anti-UV varnish can be applied to protect the colours. We recommend indoor use.
Yes. From the design stage, we build in your logistics constraints: bulky parts are split into modules, with an assembly structure designed for transport and installation at the exhibition venue.
Yes. From the 3D file of your product, a 3D scan of the object or a model created by our design office, we scale it up to manufacture an oversized dummy product (bottle, cosmetic, iconic object) while keeping its proportions and details.
